Re: Big star

Yes, had some of their stuff a few years ago from a local cash and carry shop. Awful stuff, don’t waste your money. Hugely inflated RRPs. I got a huge box that was just filled with disgustingly over packaged fountains. Swore I’d never spend on that brand again.

Re: The range fireworks 2024

Popped here earlier. Cabinets filled with pyro but poorly organised, queued up at the till for ages. Then said I wanted fireworks so they had to then call the manager who took ages to arrive, not her fault of course, sure she had loads of other things she was trying to juggle. Then they didn’t know w ...

Re: Tesco fireworks 2024

My local Tesco didn’t have them last year so can’t see them having them this year. They’ve always been the poorest supermarket with regards to communicating firework sales.

Re: BFN stash 2024

Orders have been made today for collection on Monday. I had a big list of things I wanted from Anfield Fireworks but since the release of their new Pyro Overdose crate from Hallmark I’ve decided to take a chance and just get that. Over 6,000g of powder and it’s a 1.3G crate. Never had a crate before ...

Re: Supermarket stash

Oh don’t worry, I’ve bought all my display fireworks and picking them up next week. Any supermarket selection boxes are just for fun! I know they’ll be crap but it doesn’t stop me from experimenting

Re: Anti pyro brigade

I would make it compulsory to sell all fireworks at half price or less.

Re: Which Selection Box?

Or your other option is to go for the Jamboree box which is one size down and the box I tried last year. That’s £42 on the website, leaving you with some cash to get a pack of rockets and a cake or a couple of cakes. You could try your luck and contact the shop owner, give them your budget and see if ...

Anfield Fireworks

For anyone in or around Liverpool, Anfield Fireworks have a sale on currently - 10% off everything on their website. The prices for some of their products are stupidly cheap anyway so well worth a look. They do do delivery but I think it’s about £50 which is more than your average retailer.

Re: Supermarket stash

I’m quite impressed with Aldi’s selection boxes given there’s 7 to pick from, but not sure if I’ll get any. I’m waiting to see what Rightway garden centre have to offer - I’m told their range will be put online tomorrow. I’ve picked up a couple of their Standard boxes over the last couple of years an ...
