Supermarket stash
Re: Supermarket stash
I will probably be getting couple bits from asda, the kaleidoscope fountains and serpent tails seem alright for the money, but what you want vs what you want when your stood at the fireworks counter are 2 completely different things
Re: Supermarket stash
It’s a risky game being at the counter. The kaleidoscope is a great fountain. I get a couple every year

I’m quite impressed with Aldi’s selection boxes given there’s 7 to pick from, but not sure if I’ll get any. I’m waiting to see what Rightway garden centre have to offer - I’m told their range will be put online tomorrow. I’ve picked up a couple of their Standard boxes over the last couple of years and they’ve been pretty decent to be fair.

They do look interesting but unfortunately I don’t think they are up to much. Just lower quality versions of the Morrisons display packsCaptainDec wrote: ↑Mon Oct 14, 2024 7:19 pm I’m quite impressed with Aldi’s selection boxes given there’s 7 to pick from, but not sure if I’ll get any. Total garbage they’ve literally mixed up personal range and old tnt products and created unnecessary selection boxes at silly prices

Oh don’t worry, I’ve bought all my display fireworks and picking them up next week. Any supermarket selection boxes are just for fun! I know they’ll be crap but it doesn’t stop me from experimenting

That’s okay then lol
The good days were cosmic and golden lion at Morrisons proper selection boxes them days
I mean you get the odd decent kit from the supermarket but it’s when they start reusing the same stock inventory over and over again
Or then again maybe to us it seems that way but the general public who ain’t on forums or just want a party on the 5th or whatever it may be will buy not knowing

Did the rounds today - starting at The Range, then Asda and finishing with Aldi - some good buys here. Got a non supermarket delivery coming soon with the main bulk of it - can’t beat some supermarket bits!
