Seasonal Traditions - update, and spoiler - no we are not 'dodgy'.

Post by Admin »

So we've been told that we have been spotted by members on the UKFR! The predictable raised eyebrow has occurred, along with the frankly ridiculous suggestion that this site is somehow 'dodgy'.
The reason for the team behind this to remain impartial and not comment there is simple, that's just not how you behave. You just don't go onto another site to talk about yours. It's not hiding, its being polite.

In the UK consumer firework enthusiasts and the industry (and pro for that matter) can be very hostile. People are protective and don't like attention, but they do love showing off their stashes!! The old Seasonal Traditions owner seems much more measured in a public response. We did try to reach out to him, but the domains were shut down so there was no way to.

So lets state this loud and clear. This site was setup to replace the old one. Simple as that. It was felt closure of the old site left a hole, and so this was made quite simply to fill that space. We loved the idea behind it and saw no reason not to. We want it to be as special as the old one was. Those times may have passed, but it doesn't matter we're here now anyway.

No hidden agendas, just another platform for users to come together that's not owned by a huge company or person that needs to make money to survive and exist, not reliant on adds or any income. Simple as that. If no one uses it, fine - if it gets used a lot - fine!

Come make yourself at home. Send us a message with any questions and enjoy the place, oh and don't forget to share with seasonal traditions friends!
