Seasonal Traditions - UK Fireworks, Halloween and Christmas

It’s not long now until the big day.
Has anyone here started there stash? I’m expecting my first delivery tomorrow

F2 ultra pack
4 packs vsr2
2 packs of hellfires
And a selection of single shots and candles

If you can’t already guess I have a soft spot for vivid

Where has this year gone?! Can’t believe we’re heading straight into firework season.

I think I’m at the point now where I’ve given up on supermarket fireworks - I used to like getting a few bits and bobs but prices these days are so high I just can’t justify it anymore.

Even the big firework retail names that advertise heavy sale events haven’t been that impressive this year. I’d normally get some bits but would have ended up using my entire budget … oops!

There’s one firework supplier near me who stocks some fantastic items, Vivid included. I tried his store out last year and was really impressed to be fair so he’ll be getting my business again this year. I got the small Vivid cake pack (6 x 16 shot) which were superb, a pack of VSR2 rockets (beautiful) and a Jonathan’s Jamboree selection box. I’ll probably get something similar again this year with some extra cakes.

Anfield Fireworks possibly do the cheapest fireworks I’ve ever seen as well. Been using them for about 3-4 years now. They do a sale normally around the first couple of weeks in October and the prices are too good to ignore so I’ll definitely be heading there when their sale is on too.

Think I dabbled with Tesco, Aldi, Rightway and The Range last year but I won’t be doing that this year. Rightway does normally have some decent stuff but their stock varies from store to store which is a right pain. Having said that, I got in touch with them last year by email and told them what I’d seen on their site and they moved all the items I wanted to a store closer to me to collect. Great customer service!!!! The quality was pretty decent too. When they publish their stock online I may be tempted but we’ll see …

Hopefully this year we see some price drops in the supermarkets.

The firework shop had some great offers on there sale day this year.
VSR2 rockets at £14 and space hawks at £13. It’s fair to say at those prices I stocked up

Very good choice with Jonathan’s by far the best quality and really do know how to make a selection box.

Hoping this will take off like the previous Seasonal Traditions one. There’s plenty of us pyromaniacs out there

I’m kicking myself for not ordering from the Firework Shop … thought I’d take a risk and wait until Galactic’s sale as I’ve been using them for years. Their sale was nowhere near as good! I’ll be using Firework Shop next year.

Jonathan’s boxes are brilliant! Providing they’re in stock this year (my local supplier hasn’t had them arrive yet) I might be tempted to go for one of the larger ones … I’m easily swayed haha!

I’ve been working to promote this group so hopefully we see some old and new faces.

Yeah I had planned on picking up some bits on the galactic sale weekend and I was left very disappointed.

I’m seeing a lot of year round stores near me that have always sold bright start selection boxes now stocking Jonathan’s

I got an order in from galactic, and made another one from firework shop a few days ago, So far i’ve got russian roulette, in the money, break the bank, over the top and 2 packs of hawks. But in fashion you can never have too many payday came and sky breaker, casino, late night bingo, god of thunder and more hawks slipped in my basket
